A huge fire has ripped through a fast-food restaurant in Leicester.
The blaze at Big John’s in Humberstone Road was reported at about 07:30 GMT.
The road was closed between Dysart Way and St Georges Way and police had advised motorists to find alternative routes.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said it received a number of calls to the blaze and the fire was “well-established” in the kitchen and store room.

The fire service added an inquiry is taking place to determine the cause of the fire.
Four fire engines, an aerial ladder platform and a command support unit were sent to the blaze.
Further assistance from gas and electricity companies Cadent and Western Power were also requested at the scene earlier.
Humberstone Road has now reopened in both directions.
